Yesterday my mum, my friend and I went on a road trip to the small but exciting city of Dundee.
During the car journey from Glasgow to Dundee I spent my time working in my sketchbook and singing along to Lana Del Rey (which was one of my favourite parts of the trip!).
It wasn’t just any old roadtrip though, it was an opportunity for me and my friend to drop off our portfolios to Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art for consideration onto their general foundation course! From this course you can go on to specialise in specific fields such as textiles, graphic design and animation.
After the drop off we were able to take tours and look around at different works of 1st to graduating students. Walking around art exhibitions is one of my absolute favourite things I like to spend time doing. Art and Design as a whole has always fascinated me from a very young age.
I always feel so inspired after viewing other artists works as it refreshes my mind with different ideas, mediums and techniques to use within my own work. The quality of work produced by the students at Dundee was outstanding and I can’t wait to visit their degree show in May!
Anyway here are a few of my favourites from the exhibition!
Thanks, Eilidh x
